This is not the appropriate time nor the place, but looking back over my life, I am always struck by how willingly I devoted my time and attention to lavishing my effort in the service of things I thought were greater than myself. It was always an illusion built to consume that time and attention, glorifying something that did not deserve my effort. This design is imperfect and in many ways not completely resolved, but I made it to satisfy me and remind myself that this life is mine, and I have to carry my story for eternity. Maybe you would also like a reminder to keep you on track.
